Main Events: Final Execution ends, Emotional and impact-full arc for Wolverine that will continue in Uncanny Avengers, Happy ending for Psylocke and Fantomex, Deadpool hugs Evan

Best Panel: Deadpool shows human emotion as he hugs Evan/Genesis

Rick Remender concludes what is essentially one of the best X-books in history. His Uncanny X-Force began with the 'Apocalypse Solution' in dynamic fashion and ended with a bang in 'Final Execution'.

Essentially the last issue boils down to tying all loose ends up and once again providing strong characterizations that hinge on the black-ops mutant teams morality. All arcs have had their fair share of important issues that deal heavily on one of the team members, each arc has had it's show-stealer creating and developing a lieu of fan favorite renditions of Psylocke, Archangel, Fantomex and even Deadpool. Remender here finally presents a tale relying on the lead protagonist Wolverine, bludgeoning him with questions regarding the morality of all these dead bodies left along the wake, among which is his own son's (Wolverine murdered Daken). It will be fun to see Remender carry over Wolverines inner problems and reflections over to Uncanny Avengers.

The Main and original Uncanny X-Force team

Among the other characters, it is sad to see no mention of Angel but nonetheless the resurrection of Fantomex brought a smile across my face. Psylocke who has essentially been the anchor of the team and the heart and soul of the book gets her deserved ending with Fantomex. Nobody on the other hand does Deadpool better than Remender, he makes Deadpool hilarious, in such a way that it doesn't veer in slapstick but shines with heart. His scene with Evan, and the revelation that the boy mutant considers him a hero are touching.

The emotional depth is mirrored perfectly in the artwork. The darker touch provided like other previous artists on the book elevate the black-ops concept, in this issue the happy ending tale makes the artwork reflect and remind readers of the reality the characters faced previously and thus justifies the sugary sweet endings.

My review cannot do justice to the masterpiece this book has been. It is definitely not perfect but for a short amount of time has been a roller-coaster ride that could be placed among Claremont's Uncanny X-men works as one of the best in insightful look at the (not-so) merry mutants!!! I would recommend any fan of the X-men and Wolverine to pick this issue and subsequently pick up the whole Uncanny X-force collection. It establishes developments for old characters and does not tie in to any other book, so it makes for a good read for any new reader. Even with some small faults I give this the maximum score. Thank You Rick Remender!!!

P.S.: I plan on soon enough doing a top ten moments in Uncanny X-Force countdown and also a complete look at Uncanny X-Force book as an ode to Rick Remender.
